DERBY — A 24-year-old man is facing multiple charges following an incident in Derby on Thursday.

Authorities say they were notified of an active in-progress burglary at 25 Ducharme Drive at around 10:05 p.m.

Troopers responded to the area and identified Timothy Christopher, of Derby, as a suspect in the burglary.

Police say while attempting to investigate the crime, Christopher became uncooperative and assaultive towards troopers.
