PITTSFORD — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a police car in Pittsford this morning.
The crash took place on US Route 7, in the area of Lothrop Elementary School, at around 7:40 a.m.
According to the report, Tanner Brutkoski, 18, of Leicester, was traveling south on Route 7 prior to the crash.
Brutkoski collided with the vehicle of Detective Trooper Kelsey Knapp, 32, of Royalton, an unmarked police cruiser, who was also traveling south on Route 7.
Police say that Knapp had stopped at the crosswalk in front of Lothrop Elementary School to allow pedestrians to cross.
No one was injured and both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
Police say both vehicles were towed from the scene.
