SOUTH BURLINGTON — A 28-year-old man from Burlington was arrested following a crash in South Burlington yesterday.
The single-vehicle rollover crash took place on I-89 north at around 5:30 p.m.
Troopers arrived on the scene and identified the driver as Angus Purvee.
Through the course of the investigation, Purvee was arrested for suspicion of DUI drugs and was transported to UVM Medical for injuries.
At the conclusion of processing, Purvee was issued a citation to appear in court on May 19 to answer the charge.
State Police was assisted by South Burlington Fire and Rescue, South Burlington Police, and the vehicle was towed from the scene by Elite Towing.
The right lane of the interstate was closed briefly until the vehicle was removed.
