CONCORD — A 41-year-old man is facing multiple charges following an incident in Concord yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a call concerning a violation of condition of release at Cross Road at around 10:30 a.m.
Police say that Sheldon Bunnell, of Concord, violated his conditions of release and assaulted a partner.
While conducting the investigation, State Police initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle Bunnell was driving and observed he was under the influence of intoxicants before he fled the stop in his vehicle.
At around 6:00 p.m., Bunnell was apprehended at his home driving his vehicle.
Police allege Bunnell was under the influence of intoxicants while driving.
He was taken into custody and held on $1,000 bail for the charges of domestic assault, violation of condition of release (x7), driving under the influence (x2), eluding law enforcement, and negligent operation.
