MONTPELIER — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver who was involved in a crash in Montpelier on Thursday.
Authorities were notified of a motor vehicle crash involving a light-colored, possibly tan/silver, Chevrolet pickup truck in a driveway adjacent to the Montpelier Recreation Center on Barre Street.
The incident took place at around 8:45 a.m.
Police say the vehicle was driving erratically and left eastwards on Barre Street after causing property damage.
It was described as having a loud muffler and damage to the front end.
