LYNDONVILLE — A 35-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Lyndonville yesterday.

Police say they initiated a traffic stop on Lynburke Road at around 10:35 p.m.

While speaking with the driver, identified as Jeremy O’Rourke, of Lyndonville, police say they noticed signs of impairment.

Police say that O’Rourke had conditions of release to not consume alcohol while driving a vehicle, and to submit to a preliminary breath test upon an officer’s request.

O’Rourke refused to provide a preliminary breath test roadside and was taken into custody.

He was fingerprinted and photographed at the St. Johnsbury State Police barracks.

He was issued a citation to appear in court on July 27 to answer to the offense of violation of conditions and was taken to Northeastern Correctional Facility for detox.
