CHITTENDEN — A 22-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Chittenden yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a domestic disturbance that occurred at around 11:20 p.m.
Police allege that James Rivers, of Chittenden, threatened a household member with a deadly weapon.
James was taken into custody and transported to the Rutland barracks where he was processed and released with court-ordered conditions and a citation to appear in court today.
He is being charged with first-degree aggravated domestic assault.
