HARTFORD — A man was arrested for DUI and possession of heroin in Hartford last night.
Police were alerted that a driver was seen passed out in his vehicle at the intersection of Pomfret Road and Quechee Hartland Road at around 7:40 p.m.
While rescue and police were responding to the scene, the man woke up and started to drive away.
The vehicle was located and troopers conducted a motor vehicle stop.
The driver, identified as Raymond Fielder, of Enfield, NH, is accused of being under the influence of intoxicants.
He was transported to the Royalton Barracks for processing.
Fielder was cited to appear in court to answer to the charge of DUI-Drugs and possession of Heroin.
