BRATTLEBORO — A 56-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Brattleboro on Wednesday.
Police say they arrested Bruce A Gauthier, of Brattleboro, after his vehicle was found to be traveling at 100 miles-per-hour in the posted 65 miles-per-hour zone on I-91.
The incident took place at around 6:05 p.m.
Gauthier was released on a citation to appear in court for the charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and excessive speed.
He was also issued a traffic ticket for a civil speeding violation.
