WEST HAVEN — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash with serious injuries in West Haven yesterday.
The crash took place on Vermont Route 22a at around 10:15 p.m.
According to the report, while traveling south, Victoria Allums, 29, of Staten Island, New York, left her lane of travel and entered the northbound lane.
Police say she failed to maintain the lane and was hit by Chad Sheldon, 34, of Rensselaer, New York, who was headed north on Vermont Route 22a.
Allums was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center for serious injuries.
Sheldon was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center for injuries as well.
Troopers were assisted on the scene by the West Haven Fire department.
