POWNAL — A 27-year-old man from Pownal was killed during an ATV crash on Tuesday.
Emergency workers responded to the area of Washing Brook Road in Pownal at around 9:15 p.m.
The operator, identified as Justin Cameron, appeared to have lost control of the ATV, leaving the roadway down an embankment and colliding with a tree.
Cameron was pronounced deceased at the scene, police say.
Members of Pownal Rescue and the Pownal Fire Department assisted on the scene.
