Deer causes single-vehicle crash in Rutland

RUTLAND — A 48-year-old resident of Pittsford was involved in a crash caused by a deer in Rutland yesterday.

The incident took place on North Grove Street at McKinley Avenue, at around 7:40 p.m.

According to the report, Thuy Nguyen was traveling north on North Grove Street prior to the crash.

The deer entered from the east side of the road before being struck.

No injuries were reported, but the vehicle had moderate front-end damage.
