SALISBURY — A 56-year-old man from South Burlington was arrested for DUI drugs following an incident in Salisbury yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle located on the side of US Route 7 at around 4:15 p.m.
Additionally, it was reported to police that the two occupants inside the vehicle were unresponsive.
Troopers, along with a deputy from the Addison County Sheriff’s Department, made contact with the occupants.
Police identified the driver as Michael Baer.
While speaking with Baer, police say they detected indicators of impairment.
Baer was screened, placed under arrest for DUI drugs, and transported to the Vergennes Police Department for further evaluation.
He was released with a citation to appear in court on July 25 to answer the charge.
