PITTSFORD — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Pittsford yesterday.
The crash took place on US Route 7, near Sangamon Road, at around 4:35 p.m.
According to the report, Hunter Dyer, 27, of Brandon, was headed north, and Michael Byrne, 41, of Brandon, was traveling south prior to the crash.
Police say Dyer attempted to pass another northbound vehicle on a curve resulting in his vehicle crossing the centerlines and striking Byrne.
Both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported by Regional Ambulance Service.
State Police were assisted on the scene by Regional Ambulance Service, Pittsford First Response, and Pittsford Fire Department.
