SPRINGFIELD — A 39-year-old woman from Chester was cited for DUI drugs following a crash in Springfield early this morning.
Authorities say they were notified of a single-vehicle rollover on Connecticut River Road at around 12:00 a.m.
The caller told police that they believed the driver was impaired.
State police responded and found that Nina Loring was operating a 2000 Nissan Xterra when she went off the road and crashed.
Loring was transported to Springfield Emergency Department for a medical evaluation.
Police processed Loring at Springfield Hospital for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
She was released with a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in court on June 28 to answer the charges.
