WHITINGHAM — A 43-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Whitingham yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a possible domestic assault at a home on Vermont Route 100 at around 7:40 p.m.
Police allege that Andrew J. Ferguson, of Whitingham, had assaulted a family member.
It was also found that Ferguson had operated a vehicle while under the influence.
He was arrested and charged with domestic assault and DUI.
He was transported to the Vermont State Police Westminster barracks for processing.
Ferguson was released and cited to appear in court tomorrow to answer the charges.
