BETHEL — A 29-year-old man from Rhode Island was arrested for DUI following an incident in Bethel yesterday.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation on I-89 south at around 6:15 p.m.
An investigation resulted in the driver, Gleiner Silva Valderrama, of Pawtucket, RI, being arrested for suspicion of DUI.
He was arrested and taken to the Royalton barracks where he was later released on citation.
