ROCKINGHAM — A 40-year-old man from Chester was arrested for DUI drugs following an incident in Rockingham yesterday.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop for multiple motor vehicle violations on Upper Bartonsville Road at around 5:25 p.m.
While speaking with the driver, identified as Robert Lawrence, police say indicators of impairment were detected.
Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were conducted, and Lawrence was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI drugs.
He was transported to the State Police barracks in Westminster for processing.
Lawrence was issued a citation to appear in court on June 28 and was released.
