NEW HAVEN — A 44-year-old woman from Charlotte is facing charges following an incident in New Haven today.
Police say they witnessed a near head-on collision while a vehicle was attempting to overtake several over vehicles that were traveling south on US Route 7 at around 9:35 a.m.
The driver was identified as Stephane Meloche.
The roads at the time were wet from the light precipitation.
Meloche was issued a criminal citation to appear in court to answer the charge of negligent operation.
