DUMMERSTON — A 56-year-old man from Brattleboro was arrested following an incident in Dummerston yesterday.
Police say Bruce Gauthier was arrested after he was clocked traveling south on US Route 5 at 82 miles-per-hour in the posted 40 miles-per-hour speed zone.
The incident took place at around 12:10 a.m.
Gauthier was released on a citation to appear in court at a later date for the charges of negligent operation, and excessive speed.
He was also issued a traffic ticket for a civil speeding violation.
