BARTON — A 37-year-old woman from Troy was cited for aggravated assault and cruelty to a child following an incident in Barton yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of the assault at around 1:30 p.m.
Police allege that Danielle Bernardini assaulted an individual in the presence of a child and left the scene.
Bernardini was later transported to the Vermont State Police Derby barracks.
She was released with conditions and given a citation to appear in court today.
