WEATHERSFIELD — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Weathersfield yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a crash involving an ATV and a pickup truck on Vermont Route 131 at around 1:10 p.m.
According to the report, Kenneth Carter, 57, of Weathersfield, hit Joyce Balargeon, 80, of Perkinsville.
The collision occurred as Carter was traveling east, along the westbound shoulder of Route 131.
He was treated for injuries at Dartmouth Hitchcock, police say.
Police issued him a citation to appear in court on May 23 for the charge of careless and negligent operation.
Police are still investigating this crash.
