HINESBURG — Police say a local woman is alive thanks to their quick response last Saturday.
Two officers responded to a call of an unresponsive woman in Hinesburg.
She was not breathing when Officer Hulshof arrived and immediately began chest compressions.
Officer Wager retrieved the AED machine upon arrival.
The quick actions of both officers were able to get her breathing again before the ambulance arrived.
She was transported by Richmond Rescue to continue treatment at the hospital.
“As police officers, we hope to make a difference and there’s no greater difference than saving a life,” Chief Cambridge said. “I am proud and thankful to both officers for their fast response, swift action, and a job well done”.
