Woman wanted in New York, New Hampshire arrested in Newbury

NEWBURY — A 42-year-old woman was arrested as a fugitive from justice following an incident in Newbury yesterday.

Authorities say they were contacted by the Plattsburg New York Police Department, requesting help in locating a missing woman in Newbury at around 10:00 p.m.

Police say the woman, identified as Hannah Shute, of Newbury, also had an extraditable warrant out of Grafton County, New Hampshire.

State police located the woman at an unlisted residence off of Swamp Road in Newbury.

She was taken into custody.

Shute was held on lack of $10,000 bail at NERC and was cited to appear in court today to answer the charge.
