HARTLAND — A 34-year-old man was arrested in Hartland yesterday.
Since January, authorities have received multiple burglaries and larcenies within the Route 12 corridor.
Following an investigation, as well as information from the public, Shawn Currier, of Hartland, is alleged to be connected to these incidents.
On March 15, police say they conducted a search warrant on Currier’s residence on VT Route 12.
Police say that multiple items that were reported as stolen were recovered from the home.
Yesterday, police located Currier in Hartford at around 2:40 p.m.
Currier was placed under arrest for multiple counts of burglary into an occupied dwelling, grand larceny, petit larceny, and unlawful mischief.
He was also cited for aggravated operating without the owner’s consent, for multiple car thefts.
He was held on $10,000 bail and will appear in court today.
State Police believes that Currier may have been involved with additional burglaries/thefts in the Windsor County area.
