BRANDON — A 61-year-old woman was charged with cruelty to a child following an incident reported in Brandon last year.
On December 10, 2021, authorities say they were notified of a suspected cruelty case involving a juvenile victim.
Detectives along with the Vermont Department of Children and Families began an investigation into the reported abuse.
Following an investigation, Jeanne Bergeron, of Brandon, was issued a citation for the charges on Wednesday.
Bergeron is scheduled to appear in court on May 2.
