Multi-vehicle crash involving police cruiser in Rockingham

ROCKINGHAM — A multi-vehicle crash took place on I-91 in Rockingham yesterday.

The crash occurred at around 8:20 a.m.

According to the report, Connor Milone, 26, of Old Saybrook, CT, was traveling north when he lost control on the wet and slush-covered road, entered the median, and rolled over several times.

Police say the passenger in the vehicle, Crista Carty, 26, of Hartford, CT, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Springfield Hospital.

Scott Car, 52, of Walpole, NH, went into the median upon coming to the initial crash scene.

A state police officer arrived and activated his blue emergency lights and placed flares leading to his cruiser that was parked in the left lane of travel.

Shayne Morgan, 23, of Claremont, NH, was traveling in the left lane and struck the rear passenger side of the cruiser.

Police say no injuries were reported from the secondary crash.

I-91 was closed for a short period of time as a result of the crash.

State police were assisted by the Manchester Police Department, Golden Cross Ambulance, Bellows Falls Police Department, and the Rockingham Fire Department.
