MONTPELIER — A 23-year-old man from Plainfield is facing multiple charges following an incident that took place in Montpelier earlier this month.
On March 9, police say they initiated a traffic stop on Stone Cutter’s Way at around 9:20 p.m.
According to the report, the driver was found to have a criminally suspended license and multiple sets of court-ordered conditions of release prohibiting operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and after consuming alcohol.
When the man was searched, he was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics.
He was arrested and charged with driving with a criminally suspended license, violation of conditions of release, and possession of a regulated drug.
Police have not released the name of the man at this time.
