BRIGHTON — A 27-year-old man from Barton was cited for violation of an abuse prevention order following an incident in Brighton yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified that Cody Deyette violated a temporary order for relief from abuse on Railroad Street at around 11:15 a.m.
Police allege that Deyette contacted a person via email which was prohibited at the time.
Deyette was later cited in the Essex County court for the offense.
