Man arrested for domestic assault, unlawful mischief in Fair Haven

FAIR HAVEN — A 21-year-old man was arrested following a domestic dispute in Fair Haven on Friday.

Authorities say they were called to That-A-Way Ave. in Fair Haven for a reported domestic dispute at around 8:20 p.m.

Police allege that Jaeger I. Burke, of Fair Haven, got into a physical altercation with another individual, causing injury.

Burke then allegedly slashed the tires of the car belonging to the victim and burned a bag of clothes also belonging to the victim.

Burke is also accused of disabling the victim’s cell phone so they could not call for help.

Burke was arrested and will appear in court for the charges of domestic assault, interference with access to emergency services, and unlawful mischief.
