BRADFORD — Police say a man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Bradford yesterday.
Authorities were alerted to a call from a home on Branch Road at around 4:50 p.m.
While responding to the home, police say the man left the residence in a truck with a gun after making suicidal threats.
Troopers responding to the call located the truck at the intersection of Branch Road and South Road.
When police approached the vehicle they observed the man with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Local EMS was contacted and responded to the scene.
The man was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
