BENSON — A 61-year-old man from Poultney was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Benson yesterday.
The crash took place on Lake Road at around 12:00 p.m.
According to the report, Arthur Vanburen was headed east on lake road when he maneuvered towards the right side of the road to avoid an animal.
Vanburen told police that once his tires entered the soft soil, the vehicle pulled to the right, causing him to crash into trees along the roadside.
After the vehicle collided struck the trees, it rolled onto the driver’s side in the eastbound lane of Lake Road.
Police say no nobody was injured.
State Police were assisted by members of Fair Haven Rescue and Benson Fire Department.
