Driver injured after crashing into rock ledge on I-91, Windsor

WINDSOR — A 28-year-old man from Springfield was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Windsor yesterday.

The vehicle crashed into a rock ledge on I-91 south at around 7:35 a.m.

The driver was identified as Brandon Ingalls.

According to the report, the vehicle hit the guardrail along the passing lane, traveled right across the road, off the interstate, and crashed into the rock ledge.

Police say the vehicle sustained extensive front-end damage and Ingalls suffered injuries as a result of the crash.

Police are still investigating this crash.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is being asked to call the State Police Westminster barracks and speak with Trooper Clemens at 802-722-4600.

Vermont State Police were assisted at the scene by Windsor Fire Department and Fay’s Wrecker services.
