LONDONDERRY — A 20-year-old woman is facing charges following an incident in that took place in Londonderry earlier this month.
Authorities say they were notified on March 1 of a stolen kitten from a location on Vermont Route 11.
Following an investigation, police allege the complainant, identified as Alysha Devoe, of Londonderry, had reported a false incident to police.
Police also allege that she neglected the animal.
Devoe was issued a criminal citation and scheduled to appear in court on May 3 to answer the charges of providing false information to law enforcement, and animal cruelty.
