COLCHESTER — A 27-year-old man was charged with negligent operation following an incident in Colchester yesterday.
Police say they observed two vehicles racing southbound in excess of 100 miles-per-hour on I-89 at around 8:15 p.m.
A traffic stop was initiated on one of the vehicles and the driver was identified as Christopher Thibault, of Colchester.
Thibault was released on a citation to appear in court on June 7 to answer the charge.
Police say the other involved vehicle is described as a black 2014 Dodge Charger bearing Vermont registration KEB778.
