Charlotte resident charged with harassing someone through social media

FERRISBURGH — A 39-year-old woman from Charlotte will face charges for allegedly harassing someone through social media.

Authorities say they were notified of the complaint at around 8:00 p.m.

Police allege that Sabrina Wedge used social media to intimidate and harass the victim.

The victim is a resident of Vergennes.

Yesterday, Wedge was issued a citation to appear in court at a later date for the charge of disturbing the peace by electronic communication.
