MONDAY 03-07-22

  • Conducted Patrols in 10 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
  • Community Outreach — Middlebury — Provided space for 2 supervised visits for Women Safe.
  • Solid Waste Complaint (Burning) — Lincoln — Received report of trash being burned in a barrel. A deputy spoke with the offender and educated them on the law.

TUESDAY 03-08-22

  • Conducted Patrols in 6 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
  • Community Outreach — Middlebury — Provided space for a supervised visit for Women Safe.

  • Public Assist — Orwell —A Deputy stood by at a residence while an individual retrieved belongings after being removed from the house due to a Relief from Abuse Order.

WEDNESDAY 03-09-22

  • Conducted Patrols in 7 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
  • Solid Waste Complaint (Littering) — Ferrisburgh — Received a report of trash being dumped. A deputy was able to locate the individual who had dumped the trash and it was properly disposed of.

THURSDAY 03-10-22

  • Conducted Patrols in 10 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
  • Public Assist —Addison — While on patrol, a deputy observed a vehicle pulled off to the side of the road. An elderly man was attempting to change his tire after striking a pothole and popping it. The deputy assisted with getting the tire changed and the vehicle was able to continue on its way
  • Child Safety Seat Inspection — Middlebury — Completed a Child Protective Seat safety inspection for a family that wanted to make sure the seat was installed correctly. If you would like to have your car seat inspected to make sure it’s installed safely, please call our office to schedule an appointment.
  • VIN Verification — Waltham — Provided a VIN verification for a resident. We provide this service for free to any Addison County resident. so please call us at (802) 388-2981 to have a deputy come by if you need this done.

FRIDAY 03-11-22

  • Conducted Patrols in 14 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.

MONDAY – FRIDAY

  • Provided security at the Mahady Courthouse in Middlebury. This includes screening visitors as they enter the Courthouse and security in the Courtroom during hearings.
  • Several deputies served paperwork for Civil Process.
  • 2 Recruits attended the Level 2 (Part-Time) Academy in Pittsford.
