ST. JOHNSBURY — A 39-year-old woman was arrested following an incident in St. Johnsbury yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified that a 24-year-old woman from St. Johnsbury was physically assaulted by Megan Young.
Young is also a resident of St. Johnsbury.
Following an investigation, police allege that she used a weapon to assault the woman, causing injury.
Young was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Johnsbury State Police barracks for processing.
She was released on a flash citation and is facing charges of aggravated assault.
