Police: Lyndonville man burglarized home, committed lewd act

LYNDONVILLE — A 30-year-old man was arrested on multiple charges following an incident that took place in Lyndonville yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified that Alan Tanguay, of Lyndonville, burglarized a home at around 10:15 a.m.

Following an investigation, police also allege that Tanguay was in violation of conditions of release, committed a lewd and lascivious act, and committed such crimes within the presence of children.

Police say they located Tanguay at around 7:50 p.m in Lyndon, where he was in violation of more conditions of release.

He also had an active arrest warrant, police say.

He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Johnsbury barracks for fingerprints and processing.

He was lodged on bail and flash cited into Caledonia Criminal Court.
