Enosburg man charged with pointing firearm during road rage incident

FAIRFIELD — A man from Enosburg was charged with reckless endangerment following an incident that took place in Fairfield yesterday.

Authorities say they received a call from an East Fairfield man, stating that he was involved in a road-rage incident that occurred on Route 36 near the intersection of North Road and South Road, at around 3:00 p.m.

During the incident, the caller told police that a man waved and pointed a firearm out of the rear sliding window of his truck.

The truck was found nearby at a home on South Road.

Following an investigation, police allege that Quentin Bolio Derbyshire was operating the truck involved.

He also was in possession of a firearm that matched the description given by the victim.

He was cited to appear in court on March 22 to answer to the charge.
