Woman injured during snowmobile crash in Orange

ORANGE — A 41-year-old woman from Plainfield was involved in a snowmobile crash in Orange yesterday.

The single-vehicle crash took place on the VAST trail near Reservoir road at around 12:55 p.m.

According to the report, Katy Tyner left the trail while riding and struck a tree.

The crash resulted in Tyner being thrown from the machine.

She was transported to Central Vermont Hospital for injuries.

The VAST trail was closed for a brief period of time while crews worked to normalize the scene.
