WEATHERSFIELD — A 28-year-old man from Springfield was arrested for DUI following a crash with serious injuries in Weathersfield yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on I-91 south at around 5:00 p.m.
Ascutney Fire Department arrived on the scene first and notified responding troopers both occupants of the vehicle had been ejected and were seriously injured.
While speaking with the driver, identified as Orion Pfenning, police say they observed indicators of impairment.
Both Pfenning and a 22-year-old passenger in the vehicle from Springfield were flown via DHART to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
Police say they are still investigating this crash.
