DERBY — A 33-year-old man was arrested for DUI following a two-vehicle crash in Derby on Wednesday.
The incident took place at the intersection of US Route 5 and Quarry Road at around 8:00 p.m.
Police say they responded and met with both drivers.
Following an investigation, police allege Rene Wells showed signs of impairment and was placed in custody.
He was released on a citation to appear in court to answer the charge of DUI.
Police say there were no injuries reported.
The damage to both vehicles was minor passenger side front-end damage.
One of the vehicles was towed from the scene by Grenier’s Auto at the owner’s request, and the other was driven from the scene.
