RANDOLPH — A 37-year-old man from Tunbridge was arrested following an incident in Randolph yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of an unresponsive man inside a parked vehicle at the McDonald’s parking lot at around 11:40 p.m.
As a precaution, White River Valley Ambulance was dispatched to the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as David Welch.
Police allege that Welch showed signs of impairment and was placed into custody for DUI-Drugs.
As the investigation continued Welch was found to be in possession of Fentanyl.
He was transported to the Royalton State Police barracks where he was processed for DUI-Drugs and later released on a citation to appear in court on April 20 to answer the charges.
