LUNENBURG — Police are investigating a structure fire that broke out in Lunenburg on Saturday.
The fire broke out on River Road at around 10:15 a.m.
The single-family structure sustained extensive damage and was considered a total loss.
Three people who lived at the residence were transported to Weeks Memorial Hospital in New Hampshire to be treated for injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and at this time is believed to be accidental.
Police say that the circumstances surrounding the fire are not suspicious and there is no evidence of any type of criminal activity.
