Two-vehicle crash on I-91, Coventry

COVENTRY — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Coventry on Friday.

The crash involved a pickup and a tractor-trailer on I-91 north at around 5:50 p.m.

According to the report, a vehicle driven by Zachary Charbonneau, 23, of Newport, was traveling north and shortly after loosing visibility due to windblown snow, hit a tractor-trailer driven by Channing Nussey, 45, of Howick, QC.

Charbonneau’s vehicle sustained totaling damage and Nussey’s vehicle sustained minor damage to the rear of the trailer.

Newport Ambulance, the Orleans Fire Department, and VTrans crews were all at the scene.

I-91 was partially closed for 45 minutes until the road was cleared.

Nobody was injured in the crash, police say.
