SOUTH BURLINGTON — A 27-year-old man was arrested for his second DUI following a crash with injuries in South Burlington yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a single-vehicle rollover crash on I-89 at around 8:25 p.m.
Police identified the driver as Donovan Desmaris, of Burlington, when they arrived.
Following an investigation, Desmaris was arrested for the suspicion of DUI – Drugs and was transported to UVM Medical for injuries.
At the conclusion of processing, Desmaris was issued a citation to appear in court on May 12 to answer the charge of DUI #2.
State Police was assisted by South Burlington Fire and Rescue, UVM Police.
The vehicle was towed from the scene by Handy’s Towing.
The interstate was closed briefly until the vehicle was removed.
