GLOVER — A 47-year-old man from Barton was arrested following an incident in Glover yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of an assault on Glover Street at around 10:00 p.m.
Police allege that Ivan Santiago strangled an adult woman and committed a lewd and lascivious act on her.
Santiago was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Derby barracks for processing.
He was later brought to Northern State Correctional Facility for the charges of aggravated assault and lewd and lascivious conduct.
