MONKTON — A 19-year-old man from Massachusetts was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Monkton early this morning.
The crash took place on Monkton Ridge at around 1:00 a.m.
Police identified the driver as Joseph Graham Jr., of Duxbury, MA.
While speaking with Graham, police say they detected indicators of impairment.
Graham was screened, placed under arrest, and transported to the New Haven barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, he was issued a citation to appear in court at a later date.
He was released to an area hospital for a precautionary evaluation.
Police say no injuries were suspected.
