Police investigating after shots fired in Montpelier

WASHINGTON — Police are investigating after gunshots were fired in Montpelier on Monday.

Police say they responded to Cummings Street after being alerted that shots were fired at around 7:10 p.m.

There were no reports of injury.

At this time, no one is in custody.

The Montpelier Police Department says they are continuing to investigate this incident.

Anyone who notices damage to any property possibly caused by this incident or has video footage is being asked to call 802-223-3445.
